Trinity Church will be supporting the local charity ‘Reducing the Risk’ in 2025. The Reducing the Risk charity help people who are experiencing or at risk of domestic abuse. They offer support, advice, and resources. They were the Mayor’s charity last year, and she said ‘It is so alarmingly prevalent in all our communities, yet is never talked about enough or addressed in a systematic way.’ In partnership with others, her aim is to ‘make Abingdon a town where domestic abuse, in all its forms, is known about, recognised to be unacceptable, and where help and support is available to all in need.’ Trinity Church has joined in with their support.
