The church is fitted with an\ninduction loop for hearing aid users. There are boxes of toys for\ntoddlers in the Welcome Area to which the service is clearly relayed\nenabling parents to stay with their small children if they wish.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"470\" src=\"http:\/\/trinityabingdon.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/img20240825-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trinityabingdon.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/img20240825-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/trinityabingdon.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/img20240825-1-300x176.jpg 300w, https:\/\/trinityabingdon.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/img20240825-1-768x451.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Trinity Sanctuary seen from the Welcome Area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10.30 am Family Worship, Junior Church\nand Holy Communion\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>JAM (Jesus and Me) happens on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, when children and young people worship with the adult congregation for 20 minutes or so and then move to the hall to continue their activities in Junior Church. Visiting children are welcome to go over to Junior Church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For All-Age services and on special occasions (eg Harvest, Easter) the children and young people remain for the whole service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest preachers are invited for services on special topics or themes eg mission. Members of the congregation participate in every service by reading the lessons. Members also lead some services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each week members of the congregation bring gifts of food for the Abingdon Food Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Following the service, everyone is welcome to stay on for a friendly chat. Coffee and tea are served in the church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trinity work closely with All Saints Methodist Church and Abingdon Baptist Church and sometimes share some special services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Visitors and newcomers are always warmly welcomed at Trinity services.
